Visual Represenation
Why are images important in Geography?
Pictures, photographs, sketches, and models are great way to convey scale, detail, and to show case a clear visual. At times, as geographers, to further our understanding of a geographic feature we can't always go to the place the feature exists or bring it back to class with us. However, having a visual representation enables us to continue studying our feature away from it's place.
Also, at times it is easier to show a picture than it is to describe it with words.
In this task you will:
Gather visual representations of your bird and the South Australia habitat it lives in.

How:
-
You will need to photograph or sketch your bird and habitat. (Where did you see it when you were observing?)
Then:
-
Once you have your image annotate it and add it to your folder.
-
Annotation: describe the physical features of the location. Why might this location be appropriate or inappropriate for your bird?
